Why Our Pomeranians Look Different

Why Companion Poms Pomeranians Look Different

Many people notice that Companion Poms puppies have thicker coats, beautiful structure, and confident personalities compared to typical Pomeranians they see online.

That difference is intentional.

Our breeding program focuses on preserving the qualities that made the breed beloved around the world.

Champion-Influenced Bloodlines

Our dogs come from carefully selected AKC and FCI imported champion lines, known for exceptional structure, coat quality, and stable temperaments.

Health Verification

We prioritize long-term health by verifying genetics through Orivet and Animal Genetics testing, helping ensure our puppies come from healthy lines.

Raised as Family, Not Kennel Dogs

Our puppies are raised inside our home, exposed to normal household life, children, and other dogs from the beginning. This creates well-adjusted companions ready to bond with their new families.

Preservation-Focused Breeding

As members of the Better Breeder Institute and participants in responsible breeder programs, we focus on protecting the future of the Pomeranian breed through ethical breeding practices.

Temperament Matters

While our bloodlines are show quality, our priority is placing puppies into loving homes where they will be cherished family companions.

The result is a Pomeranian that is not only beautiful — but confident, affectionate, and deeply bonded with its family.

F.A.Q about Pomeranians

Pomeranian Puppy F.A.Q

Are your Pomeranians family raised?

Yes. All of our Pomeranians are raised in our home with daily interaction, socialization, and hands-on care.

Do you do genetic testing?

Absolutely. Our breeding dogs are genetically tested, and puppies/adults are placed with transparency and honesty.

Are your Pomeranians good with kids and other dogs?

Yes. Our Pomeranians are raised around children and other dogs and are selected for friendly, stable temperaments.

Do you offer transport / shipping?

We are testing out new transport options with our daughter and Son-in-law handling them.

New Transport Options!

1. Airport Near You - Must be same day round trip within reasonable hours.  You Pay cost of the flight with pet fee along with a flat $600 fee that includes our parking, gas, travel time, and any food for the day.  Sorry no flights to CA available.

2. Meet at CHA airport for $150 travel fee.  This is the only airport we meet at.  Other airports are to hectic and our daughter and son-in-law want to stay away from them.

3. Meet you in public for flat fee of $600 within a 5 hour radius of us which is 6.5 hours one way for our daughter and son in-law.  Some highly congested cities maybe excluded of which we would be happy to meet outside of the city.

Transport is mostly on weekends and maybe available some federal holidays and during summer break.  Our daughter and her husband will be handling transport, and it must be paid to them upfront via Zelle, Venmo, or Cashapp.

Keep in mind, many people drive from Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Atlanta, North Carolina, and South Carolina, even FL to pick up their new Pomeranian puppies!  The other option many do is to fly into ATL, BNA, or CHA and rent a car to pick up to pickup in Whitwell TN 37397.

Do you require a deposit?

Details regarding deposits and reservations are discussed individually to ensure the right fit for both puppy and family.  Most time if pickup is within a few days we require no money down and you can pay in full at pickup.  If we require a non-refundable holding fee is dependent on when pick up is scheduled for.

How do I know which Pom is right for me?

We help guide families based on lifestyle, experience, and expectations. Matching the right dog to the right home is very important to us.

How long do Pomeranians live on average?

Pomeranians life expectancy is about 12-16 years making them on of the longer living breeds and a longer lifetime friend for you!

How big do Pomeranians get?

Most adult Pomeranians weigh 4–7 pounds, though some lines may be slightly larger or smaller. Despite their small size, they have bold personalities and big hearts.

Are smaller Pomeranians prone to hypoglycemia?

We only bred from lines that are not predisposed for hypoglycemia problems, that are no different in heath from the bigger size poms. Of course, any small breed can have an episode under stressful times if they do not eat enough.  It can also happen if a puppy plays to hard and burns through their stores and forgets to eat.  So, it is best to be knowledgeable and aware of the signs.  Always have light Karo or Tomlyn Nutritional Gel on hand just in case when owning a Pomeranian just in case.

Are Pomeranians good dogs for families?

Yes, they are easy to travel with and take with you wherever your family goes. They are small and light weight and easy to live with.  Our Pomeranians are always happy, love to play, and calm immediately when picked up to cuddle. Our Pomeranians adore kids and love other dogs of all sizes!

When do Companion Poms puppies go home?

Our puppies generally go home between 8-12 weeks old and is accessed on an individual basis for each puppy.

When can I reserve a Companion Poms Puppy?  When do they become available?

We generally start to accepting holding fees and/or reservations between 7-8 weeks old for most puppies.  This is when they will be put up to find and be matched with a home.

What Vaccinations will my puppy have when they go home?

This will depend on the individual puppy.  Tiny Pomeranians are very susceptible to vaccine reaction till they are older and bigger, even then you should take caution.  Over vaccination has become a very real problem as we have seen the number of recommended vaccines go up and be pushed on little puppies all at one time, and even adult dogs, when less vaccines have been found to be adequate and studies show they last much longer than the recommend schedules.  The push seems to be big pharma and about making money vs safety of our beloved pets!  We have decided for their safety to single out vaccines and start them slower to not overwhelm their little systems. They will receive a single parvo vaccine and then distemper/adenovirus 2 vaccine which is the minimum your puppy will have before going home.  Some puppies maybe further into their vaccine schedule before leaving.

At what age do you recommend rabies be given?

We recommend Pomeranian puppy's be 6 to 12 months old for their first Rabies vaccination when they are close to full grown and their systems have had time to develop so it is not as over whelming.
