Why Our Pomeranians Look Different
Why Companion Poms Pomeranians Look Different
Many people notice that Companion Poms puppies have thicker coats, beautiful structure, and confident personalities compared to typical Pomeranians they see online.
That difference is intentional.
Our breeding program focuses on preserving the qualities that made the breed beloved around the world.
Champion-Influenced Bloodlines
Our dogs come from carefully selected AKC and FCI imported champion lines, known for exceptional structure, coat quality, and stable temperaments.
Health Verification
We prioritize long-term health by verifying genetics through Orivet and Animal Genetics testing, helping ensure our puppies come from healthy lines.
Raised as Family, Not Kennel Dogs
Our puppies are raised inside our home, exposed to normal household life, children, and other dogs from the beginning. This creates well-adjusted companions ready to bond with their new families.
Preservation-Focused Breeding
As members of the Better Breeder Institute and participants in responsible breeder programs, we focus on protecting the future of the Pomeranian breed through ethical breeding practices.
Temperament Matters
While our bloodlines are show quality, our priority is placing puppies into loving homes where they will be cherished family companions.
The result is a Pomeranian that is not only beautiful — but confident, affectionate, and deeply bonded with its family.
F.A.Q about Pomeranians
Pomeranian Puppy F.A.Q
Are your Pomeranians family raised?
Yes. All of our Pomeranians are raised in our home with daily interaction, socialization, and hands-on care.
Do you do genetic testing?
Absolutely. Our breeding dogs are genetically tested, and puppies/adults are placed with transparency and honesty.
Are your Pomeranians good with kids and other dogs?
Yes. Our Pomeranians are raised around children and other dogs and are selected for friendly, stable temperaments.
Do you offer shipping?
While we don't offer shipping, many people drive from Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Atlanta, North Carolina, and South Carolina, even FL to pick up their new Pomeranian puppies! The other option many do is to fly into ATL, BNA, or CHA and rent a car to pick up. Often our daughter can meet most weekends at CHA airport for additional $100) Pickup is in Whitwell TN 37397.
Do you require a deposit?
Details regarding deposits and reservations are discussed individually to ensure the right fit for both puppy and family. Most time if pickup is within a few days to a week we require no money down and you can pay in full at pickup.
How do I know which Pom is right for me?
We help guide families based on lifestyle, experience, and expectations. Matching the right dog to the right home is very important to us.
How long do Pomeranians live on average?
Pomeranians life expectancy is about 12-16 years making them on of the longer living breeds and a longer lifetime friend for you!
How big do Pomeranians get?
Most adult Pomeranians weigh 4–7 pounds, though some lines may be slightly larger or smaller. Despite their small size, they have bold personalities and big hearts.
Are smaller Pomeranians prone to hypoglycemia?
We only bred from lines that are not predisposed for hypoglycemia problems, that are no different in heath from the bigger size poms. Of course, any small breed can have an episode under stressful times if they do not eat enough. It can also happen if a puppy plays to hard and burns through their stores and forgets to eat. So, it is best to be knowledgeable and aware of the signs. Always have light Karo or Tomlyn Nutritional Gel on hand just in case when owning a Pomeranian just in case.
Are Pomeranians good dogs for families?
Yes, they are easy to travel with and take with you wherever your family goes. They are small and light weight and easy to live with. Our Pomeranians are always happy, love to play, and calm immediately when picked up to cuddle. Our Pomeranians adore kids and love other dogs of all sizes!
